German Republic Stein
This stein is entirely made of raised-relief fine pewter. Three detailed panels vividly display the famous cities of front: Berlin, Liepzig and Hamburg; left: Munich, Weimar and Dresden; and right: Frankfurt, Potsdam and Kologne. The banner on the front of the stein reads "Vereintes Deutschland" meaning "United Germany". On top of the stein is a gold-leaf painted pewter German Eagle figurine. A ring of German state crests completes the bottom border decoration. The pewter handle of this stein is the German tri-colored flag. This is a second edition to the famous 50 Year Anniversary Stein, introduced in 1999 and sold out within weeks. Limited edition of 999 individually numbered and registered pieces.
